The Fantom Killer is on the loose again, slaughtering yet more prossies,
& there is only one woman who thinks she can identify him - hooker Ramona.
So she turns to police officer & woman-hater Linski & offers her help
... & after hollering abuse at her for 5 straight minutes he accepts &
makes up a very stupid plan: He has police officer Kinska (Eliza Borecka) - according to her
own words an innocent catholic girl - pose as a hooker while he & Ramona -
the real hooker - wait in a car nearby. Catholic & innocent Kinska
however seems to have no objections when a would-be john asks her to undress
(completely) & feels her up to test the goods, but soon she ends up in the
car of the Fantom Killer anyways, & Linski, who has promised to safeguard
her, manages to lose her, & thanks to his incompetence she is killed. Only
then can Linski & Ramona pick up the trail of the killer again, but by then
not only is Kinska already brutally slaughtered, but also they walk into a
trap, are tied up & gagged, & Linski has to watch poor bnaked Ramona
being electrocuted on the hood of his car with starter cables, & then
sliced up, too ... The next day he wakes up on the scene of the crime, &
while Kinska is found dead, Ramona is gone ... & every trace of what had
happened last night with her ... & if you think now that all might have
been part of Linski's wild imagination & he is indeed the Fantom Killer
himself, well ... The next evening, Linski picks up a hooker & orders her
to strip in the open, which she does. When she however fails to give him an
erection, he drives off & leaves her behind - in the nude - a perfect
victim for the Fantom Killer, who doesn't fail to show up, of course. The
next day, Linski is scolded by his (female) super ntendent for losing both an
officer & an eyewitness in one go ... of course that night, the
superintendent is called to an abandoned house where she is promised to find
vital clues - instead of course the Fantom killer strips her nekkid & ties
her to a cross. Then Linski arrives, but instead of arresting the Fantom
Killer, he almost shoots the tied up superintendent, before the Killer
convinces him that he is indeed a figment of Linski's imagination & they
are one & the same person, so Linski (as Linski) leaves & lets himself
(the Fantom Killer) continue with killing the woman ... Fantom
Kiler 2 is pretty much more of the same, a hardly disguised excuse to show
an array of naked women & brutal violence. But while the first Fantom
Kiler had a certain freshness in its blunt approach, almost
self-parodistic (& it wasn't much of a freshness to begin with),
this is totally lost on this movie, that has replaced all self parody with
provocative misogyny, that, while being way too blunt to be taken seriously,
just isn't funny enough to be funny either. Rumours persist that this film
(& its predecessor) is not from Poland at all but from the UK &
directed by one Trevor Barley.
