Olaf Ittenbach plays a rebellious, drugcrazed youth. When he has to
babysit his little sister high on heroin, he tells her 2 stories to pass
the time. The first one is about a psycho - who had been murdering since
he saw his granddad kill his family - who has just escaped from the
asylum & is now dating Julia, who thinks him a decent guy, until she
hears otherwise on the radio, escaping in literally the last minute. But
he knows where she lives, so he drops by to slaughter all of her family,
only to be shot by a cop when he's about to slaughter Julia too. In the
second story, a priest delights in raping & killing women, plus
killing (though not raping) their men too should the occasion arise,
'cause, you see, the priest by day is satan's servant by night. Then for
some reason he shoots himself, though the neighbouring farmer's blame it
on someone else, one of their own, Justus who is an outsider in the
village. So they send a guy over to him to kill him off. But Justus
won't stay dead that easily, coming back to his killer as a zombie &
sending him - quite literally - to hell. Our drug-crazed youth,
meanwhile, has killed his little sister & now cuts his wrists. Amateurish
early film by Olaf Ittenbach, obviously made to outgross everyone with
its drastic gore-effects. But unfortunately, these effects are (apart
from the scene in hell, when there are a lot but get boring rather soon)
few & far between, & the story to hold them together is pretty
bad, with the dialogues among the worst I've heard in quite a long time,
not at all helped by the uniformly bad actors as uniformly unbelievable
characters. As a whole, the movie is almost a pain to watch (even though
Ittenbach manages to insert some atmospheric scenes). |
