But as they go about their mission, they find out about the town drunk Brandy, who has once been a powerful businessman but has been cheated out of everything by his former partner Donaldson, coincidently groom at the third wedding of the weekend. So suddenly what should have been a leisurly trip becomes a crusade for justice, helped by of all things some magic beans. That said, not everybody wants them to succeed, there are crooked lawyers around every corner, there's Donaldson of course, and then there's a rival gossipper hell-bent on eliminating the competition using what they know best: gossip ...<p> <p>As an experiment (and a successful one at that), <strong>A Very Long Carriage Ride</strong> is nothing short of fascinating, as it's not just one but two AI-animated features following the same screenplay, made by only one person, Hooroo Jackson, one in style of classical 2D animation resembling vintage <em> <a href="../research/resultprodlinks.shtml?Walt Disney Productions">Disney</a></em>, the other mocking 3D stop motion animation - and both versions look and feel rather incredible and incredibly close to the original.
