Now this could be reporter Wynonna's (Caitlin Cameron) big break, she's to
shadow a group of ghosthuners who are on the verge of making a big
discovery any day now - but unturtunately, the wuintet of paranormal
researchers as they call themselves (Matthew Devitt, Daysy Boyden, OWen
Llewelyn, Andrew Norman, Tom Clear) are nowhere near the top of their
game, none of them has ever actually seen a ghost, not all are sure they
even believe in ghosts. On top olf that, their shosthunts are usually
unsuccessful, which in parts at least is thanks to their own incompetence,
paired of course with the fact that neither of them is a good team player
...
This film is ... well, it's more fun that it has any business to be. Now
basically this is a story of failure, which really is mirrored in the
editing, as the camera often stays on things too long, shots are drawn out
- and all of this works for the film, only augmenting the awkwardness of
the film's concept. and it's hilarious. Also the cast s super-solid, with
special praise going to Caitlin Cameron, who,, eespite not being on the
screen an awful lot, holds the thing together as the woman who ... well,
would have deserved better. So if you're at all up got a good laugh, then
this is definitely worth a watch.
