It seems evil organisatiion Seiroukai is planning to unite all the
gangs from all the high schools under their banner for some evil purposes.
And to enforce their plan, they've employed Kaze, an almost supernatural
fighter who uses coins as his weapon of choice. Now it's been learned that
gang boss Junji Kawahara is Kaze's likely next victim, so Nishiwaki (Keizo Kanie),
undercover high school girl cop Saki's (Yoko Minamino) boss and mentor,
sends her and her sidekick
Okyo (Haruko Sagara) to Kawahara's school - dressed as boys as it's an all
boys school -, where the girls are quick to attract the attention of
Kawahara, but he suspects to be enforcers of a rival gang that's already
in Seiroukai's employ. To gain Kawahara's respect, the girls pretty much
beat up his whole gang but then offer their services and actually save
Kawahara from Kaze's first attack. Then the rival gang takes one of
Kawahara's men hostage to force him out into the open - and soon the gangs
find themselves in a heated battle while Saki and her yo-yo and Okyo and
her marbles take care of Kaze and his coins in a fight that borders
the surreal ...
While last
episode was a rather straight-forward suspense piece at least
somewhat rooted in reality, this one goes full camp again with its
colourful supervillain, over-the-top fight scenes and general craziness -
and it's lots of fun for it, really. That said though, you might not want
to overthink this episode or take it very seriously, it's not good
televisionin the classic sense of the word, just schoolgirls battling
caped villains with weird weapons - so obviously the right mindset helps
enjoying this one.
