Since the original On the Trail of UFOs miniseries from 2020, much has changed, has moved - or that's what it looks like on the surface: Disclosure has been promised by the American gouvernment, whistleblowers on UFOs have even been quetioned in congress, and the topic has finally entered academia even - but not so much progess has been made, really, the definite piece of evidence has never been presented. And whistleblowers can't always be trusted, if sometimes for the fact tht the things they're believing to be fact aren't always actual fact, on the other hand gouvernment disclosure can be intentionally msleading, and academia doesn't have better sources than anyone else. What has feally changed since 2020 is that the public is more susceptible than ever to clickbait, clickbait tat might actually cloud actual facts ...

Now I'll admit I'm a UFO-doubter - not that I don't believe that there's life on other planets, because I do, but who says they have mastered long-range space travel, and if so why would they want to visit earth -, but I still find the documentaries Seth Breedlove has made on the subject over the years fascinating, as he never tries to preach or convince one, he only presents one with anecdotal evidence but also the arguments against it, and appreaches the subject from a very scientific point of view. Plus, especially in this first episode of his new series he also reports of the state of UFO-research and its trials and tribulations - all of which make this a rather fascinating documentary.
