Their father (voiced by Calum Callagham) might never come back and their
mother (Jessica Henwick) is all stressed out for it, so it's no wonder
that tweenaged twins Eliuse (Alisha Weir) and Alfie (Andrei Shen) escape
into a fantasy world guided by the Wish Collector (Ewan McGregor) and his
watch (Terry Jones) which grants them 6 wishes - so more than enough to
get their father back ... or so it would seem, as the world they're thrown
into is a treacherous üöace, and they have to get out of it in 24 hours or
trapped in it forever ... Now sure, the story of this film and
especially its "be careful what you with for" message aren't exactly what
wone would call uncharted territory, especially in the field of family
entertainment, but where this film really succeeds (besides its
star-studded voide cast) is in its visuals that really give the story its
extra dimension, show genuine imagination and keep the viewer glued to the
screen even if family entertainment isn't one's thing. So in all, this is
a pretty awesome genre ride for sure. The Land of
Sometimeswill be in UK Cinemas from March 20th 2026, courtesy of Kaleidoscope
Entertainment.
