What’s your background?

Working by day as a sales consultant I've been stage acting for just over a year now with various local groups. Phase Three is my first film role and I've absolutely loved it!

Tell us about your character in Phase Three?

Lucius is a soulless, conscience-less, unrelenting businessman who will stop at nothing to keep his well-oiled business empire turning a tidy profit.

What were your experiences working on the film?

It's my first film so it's all been really new to me but I've really enjoyed it. Jamie McEvoy [Jamie McEvoy interview - click here] is a great director who knows what he wants and is brilliant at getting it out of you. After working on this I'm really keen to do more film work in the future.

What would you do in Denzel’s position?

If I were Denzel I'd have got in a taxi and headed straight to Leeds Bradford airport and got on a plane to the other side of the world after first running into Lucius. Thinking about it though Lucius would still have probably found him so instead I'd have immediately discovered an invisibility superpower.

Have you been on any corporate training days?

Plenty! My sales job means that I am always needing to keep my skills sharp. In fact it was a training day that first inspired me to give acting a go.

Anything you’d like to plug?

Phase Three of course! It would nice if people could come and watch me in my next stage play The 39 Steps too. I'm playing the lead role and I'm certain it's a play that everyone would like - even if you're not a regular to the theatre.

Thank you for the interview!
