As the VIPs are about to arrive to watch the final rounds of the game,
the gamemaster (Lee Byung-hun) has efforts intensified to find Hwang
Jun-ho (Wi Ha-joon), the police officer who has infiltrated the crew. But
Jun-ho is nothing if not inventive, and ultimately he evades detection by
dressing up as one of the servants. Meanwhile the players are surprised
when returning from last round,
they find Han Mi-nyeo (Kim Joo-Ryung) still alive and kicking after she
failed to find a partner for the last game. And now she has payback
written all over her face. The next game has the contestants jump over
two parallel rows of glass panels - thing is, some of the panels break
easily and if one steps on such a panel, one falls to one's death (or is
shot by the guards should one survive the fall. Now this is a perfect game
for Mi-nyeo to settle her score with Jang Deok-su (Heo Sung-tae), even if
that costs her own life, while the overly strategic Cho Sang-woo (Park
Hae-soo) proves his ruthlessness by pushing another player into a breaking
glass panel ...
It's pretty much two stories for the price of one in this
episode - and it works, too, as the two stories are treated as seperate
entities and don't stand in one another's way, and both are pretty
exciting in their own right, making this one of the better episodes of the
overall pretty good series.
