There's nothing out of the ordinary our heroine (Taylor
Murphy-Sinclair) does this day, nothing she hadn't done a hundred or more
times before: She turns on her laptop, puts in her earphones to listen to
music, and ... and the music, though weird-sounding, is oddly mesmerizing
today. Soon our heroine is like in a trance, and her nose and ears start
bleeding. And then she hears voices ... Very effective horror
miniature that really gets the most out of very little (basically a young
woman sitting in front of a computer), but thanks to an inventive
directorial effort, interesting camerawork that's heavy on atmosphere, an
eerie soundscape and a strong performance by Taylor Murphy-Sinclair, Soundbite
has turned out to be a quite unsettling little movie. ... and
if this has at all captured your attention, you might as well want to
