Having been in a relationship for either 14 or 22 years (depending on
which one of them you ask), whatever Ralph (Jason Stuart) and Randy (Mitch
Hara) once felt for one another has gone into hiding, and the romance has
lond escaped their life together. So they try couple therapy to save
what's maybe already lost, but they just drive one therapist after the
other crazy, even when they try more unorthodox methods like "couch
therapy (with Pancho Moler) and kids' therapy (with Erika Ervin), crayons
included. Eventually, one of their therapists (Scott Krinsky) actually
drives them into the arms of a divorce lawyer - but they learn they can't
even afford divorce as they owe a small fortune to the IRS. And their way
to solve that problem isn't exactly promising ... Now despite
many a (loving) gay joke, this webseries has something very universal to
it, as it manages to portray a relationship gone stale in a very amusing
way that's totally relatable, no matter whether you're homosexual or
heterosexual. And Jason Stuart and Mitch Hara manage to remain very
believable in their roles, especially since they don't just aim for cheap
jokes but find the truth in their characters - which makes them being
thrown in all the pretty hilarious situations depicted all the funnier of
course. And a supporting cast obviously in on the joke but playing it
fairly straight really help to make this one fun journey for sure.
