<body> <div align="left"> <table border="0" cellspacing="0" width="800" cellpadding="0" height="100%"> <tr> <td width="100" rowspan="3" background="../stylepix/square.gif" valign="top">  </td> <td width="4" rowspan="3"></td> <td width="592" height="1%" valign="top">  </td> <td width="4" rowspan="3"></td> <td width="100" rowspan="3" background="../stylepix/squareright.gif" valign="top">  </td> </tr> <tr> <td width="592" valign="top" height="99%">   <p>A sequel to the previous year's <a href="zannabianca(1973).shtml"><b>Zanna Bianca</b></a>:</p> <p>Independently from each other, almost all of the protagonists of the first film - Beauty Smith (John Steiner), Sister Evangelina (Virna Lisi), the wolf-dog White Fang, and Jason Scott (Franco Nero) and Kurt Jansen (Raimund Harmstorf) - find themselves in another Alaskan gold rush town, and once again Beauty is trying to bleed the town and its citizens dry while Sister Evangelina is caring for the sick and poor, White fang belongs to another young boy, Billy (Renato Cestiè) while Scott and Jansen are once again the overall good guys.</p> <p>Beauty once again tries every trick in the book to make a fortune of the poor citizens and get rid of his opponents, in one scene he even has White Fang accused of a murder and tries to have the dog stoned by an angry lynchmob, in another he has the local hospital burned down - and eventually it becomes clear what it is all about: Billy's gramps (Harry Carey jr) knows about a rich ore of gold he wants to exploit for his grandson's good, but Beauty wants his hands on the ore - which eventually culminates in a shootout that in turn sets off a ravine that buries both men. </p> <p>And now, the ore belongs to Billy, right ?</p> <p>Wrong, because Gramps never stated his claim, and now young Harvey (Werner Pochath), the only surviving henchman of Beauty, wants the ore for himself ... and rather surprisingly, the decision who the ore actually belongs to is decided in a dogsleigh race, which Harvey sweems to win until Scott, his only real opponent, throws White Fang into the mix, who leads the dogs like no other dog, and who saves the ore for Billy.</p> <p>And Harvey ?</p> <p>During the race, he is run over by his own sleigh.</p> <p> </p> <p>If you have seen <a href="zannabianca(1973).shtml"><b>Zanna Bianca</b></a>, its sequel will seem more of the same to you - which isn't too good since <a href="zannabianca(1973).shtml"><b>Zanna Bianca</b></a> wasn't too good a film in the first place, and the sequel is rather sloppily written. So yes, this one sucks, it's another cheesy story about a boy and his dog, with some gold rush-Western elements thrown in, but ultimately it all amounts to rather little.
