After drinking from a flower, Eve's perception gets properly warped,
and she sees images of immense beauty but also immense violence (including
torn off limbs and an act of cannibalism), is drawn into a world where the
mundane and the bizarre exist side by side (like a killer bunny in the
local laundromat), and she experiences memories of the past, present and
future side-by-side, sometimes superimposed. And even when she
"awakens", she can't say whether she's in the "real"
world anymore. Now granted, above is not so much a synopsis of It's
a Strange World as it is an interpretation, and no doubt you would
come with a totally different synopsis, mainly because It's a Strange
World is not a narrative movie in the traditional sense of the world,
rather a series of associations with often surreal connotations, also
making perfect use of simple cinematic tricks like superimposed images and
the like to create a weird world beyond. In all, It's a Strange World
is less than a movie and more of a trip (in every sense of the world) to
another world ... that's hauntingly like our own! Quite fascinating. And
if this has gotten you at all interested, you may as well watch the movie
