Young Sandy (Maddie Nichols) is madly in love with Dan (Vincent
Stalba), and luckily enough he loves her right back - so much so that he
has come over to confess his love to her and meet with her parents
(Michele Rossi, William E. Harris). Which sounds like a perfect happy
ending - only it isn't because what Sandy has so far neglected to tell Dan
is that her parents are nuts - and in return he has neglected to tell her
that he has a certain very wild allergy ... Fck'n Nuts
is quite simply loads of fun, as even though the film relies hugely on its
one punchline, storywise, director Sam Fox has made the most out of the
situation as a whole, lovingly playing with clichés and winkingly
employing esaggerations to have the audience already readily warmed up for
its focal twist. And thanks to rather wonderful art direction,
atmosphere-heavy camerawork, some gruesome special effects and strong
leads clearly in on the joke this has turned out to be one very
entertaining film - at least if you're of the macabre denomination.
