Ansel's (Ralf Scheepers) is pretty much caught red-handed, with his
wife (Diana Noris) tied up in his trunk, and his arrest doesn't go all
smoothly when one of the arresting officers runs amok. But when questioned
at the station, he tells a story about wanting to save humanity, and has a
bunch of videos on USB sticks that are supposed to prove just that ...
- Abandoned: Photographer Steve (Aaron Mathias) has taken his
model Billie (Siakie Tetteh) to a remote and abandoned building for a
sexy shoot - not knowing of course that the location might be swarming
with masked men who don't like their lair to be the centerpiece of a
photo shoot ...
- Don't Say These Words: In the 1980s, a couple of youngsters
got their hands on the Necronomicon - for kicks rather than because
they're into anything Satanic. However, the book's still happy to
corrupt them ...
- Choke: To have her revenge on her cheating filmmaker husband
Eric (Jared Christopherson), Liliana (Megan Penn) broadcasts herself
having live sex with another man right to the premiere of his latest
film. Just that under Satanic influence, this eventually turns into
something much more sinister than celebrity porn ...
- Stash: As part of a fundraiser for her church, Faith (Almog
Pail) films herself going on a scavenger hunt in the woods. Thing is,
whoever set up the bounties might not have the same high religious
standards as she has ...
Now it would be asy to just dismiss these videos as made up nonsense -
but what's on them has a direct impact on what results in an attack on the
police station ...
A cool horror anthology that manages to both tell stories vastly
different in narrative and directorial approach, yet all serving the same
overriding plot. And while one might not like each individual episode
equally well, they still all share a predilection for the macabre and for
dark punchlines and are thus almost certain to entertain horror fans to
quite some extent.
