So ok, Burlesque Massacre might not be
the most intelligent movie ... but so what? Heck, this film is called
"Burlesque Massacre", so basically it gives you a hint
what to expect - and in terms of nudity and killings, the film almost goes
out of its way to deliver. But that said, Burlesque Massacre is not
just a piece of sleazy violence, it does manage to add a few new details
to the tried-and-true slasher formula, shows humour in all the right
places without ever becoming moronic, and is stylistically a welcome
throwback to grindhouse fare from the 1970's ... oh, and it's fun, too!!!
