Madame Raven (Natalie Milner) runs a very exclusive brothel where she
makes sure that every customer gets exactly what he wishes for ...
- Ripper: Graham (Stuart Baker) is a prostitute killer, one who
claims he only does it to relieve the tension - well, he doesn't tell
Madame Raven that, but she sees right away that he needs an obedient
girl, a girl like Lilian (Faye Baker) - but Graham soon finds out
there's more to Lilian than just the timid girl she seems to be ...
- Stitchgirl: Dr. Whale (Julian Lamoral-Roberts) has a very
specific girl in mind he orders pretty much à la carte - and when
Madame Raven doesn't have one in stock to please him, she just
stitches one together from other girls ...
- Vice Day: When during a private session, camgirl Destiny
(Danielle Laws) is asked by her client to look at his cam as well,
she's more than a little surprised to find it's campaigning politician
Daniel Cain (Cy Henty) on the other end of the line, who might risk
anything if their cybersex encounter would come out even - and he
didn't even have to reveal himself ... but today, he claims, it's vice
day. He has just cheated death one more time in a game of Russian
roulette, so he (in his eyes) has every right to be a sinner for a
day. But there's something more sinister to Daniel Cain ...
First and foremost, Bordello Death Tales is a lot less sleazy
than the title makes it sound - sure, the movie has its fair share of bare
breasts, but then again, which movie hasn't? Anyways, Bordello Death
Tales is actually more of a collection of macabre (and sometimes quite
gory) little stories all revolving around Madame Raven's little spooky
brothel, and due to their macabre twists, black humour and moral endings,
they are probably best comparable to classic Tales
from the Crypt. Stylistically, all three shorts are
beautifully filmed and put more emphasis on subtlety than actual shocks
(though especially Ripper has its fair share of the latter, too).
Most of all though, the individual stories and the film as a whole are
good genre fun.
