Koda (Lanre Sarumi) seems to just have invented the perfect drug, a mix
of cocaine, heroine, chocholate and whatnot, and under normal
circumstances, it just ought to make everybody rich ... but when it comes
to drugs or "business", there are no normal circumstances, so
everybody wants to get their hands on Koda's drug, the
"Bastard". Now Koda has two very handy bodyguards (Tirf Alexius,
Remoh Romeo) who keep him out of most shit going down on the street, and
when he's blackmailed they actually kill his blackmailer ... thing is,
things are not always what they seem, as whoever they killed might have
been a pawn - as might Koda himself be in this big game of drug pushing
... Now there's a very powerful gangster flick that might have
been shot on a low budget but manages to bring all its points across to
the T, thanks to an expertly structured screenplay that tells very much in
very little time, outbursts of violence exactly where they are needed, a
very economic yet tense directorial effort, and of course a bunch of
strong performances. Totally worth a look!
