Benjamin (Rob Dimension) is a kind of weirdo: Even though he seems to
worship the ground his wife walks on the couple seems to be oddly distant.
In the office, he spends most of his time staring at her photo on his
cellphone and pretending to receive calls from her at random moments, not
even noticing his colleagues are starting to talk about him behind his
back for his odd behaviour, and he has grown weirdly attached to his
briefcase, so much so that when two thugs (Chris Raddatz, Thomas Mendolia)
want to steal it from him, he murders one of them to protect it. But was
it really worth it, and what's the cause for all his odd behaviour? A
creepy little film that follows the narrative structure of a good
old-fashioned short story (carefully building up a mystery before
resolving it in a punchline), but does so via a series of eery sequences
and moody and evocative pictures with all the action sequences remaining
enjoyably vague ... until the finale that is. Great creepy stuff indeed!
