In the meantime, Denny Richards (Chiara Marfella, Christian Riva), the gangster boss who has torched Emily to death because she has owed him an insignificant sum of money, learns that Chaplin's on his track. It's not that he's all that concerned about this as exposure to some radioactive material when he was a child has made him near invincible, and yet he hires hitman Mike Carrera (Monica Munoz, Wilmar Zimosa) to take care of the problem as he doesn't want to get his own hands dirty or sacrifice his loyal sons (Paolo Luciani, Giulio De Santi) on what he perceives a broken-hearted avenger. But then again, he hasn't got the slightest idea regarding the nature of Chaplin's mission of vengeance ...<p> <p>Now one thing up front, <b>Adam Chaplin</b> is definitely a film for those with an easily upset stomach, as it's an extremely gory movie with a penchant for excessive and exaggerated violence. And the nihilistic narrative approach might also not be for everyone, not a predilection for faces uglified by clever use of prosthetics. At the same time, <b>Adam Chaplin</b> is though a very stylish movie very much reminiscent of apocalyptic comicbooks both in style and in tendency to overplay things for visual effects.
