Sandra (Audrey Noone) and Thomas' (Sean McPherson) relationship has
seen better days, she can't stand him making decisions for them both, he
simply can't empathize and just ask her from time to time ... and
invariably, everything ends in a food fight. That's not to say they don't
still love one another - which is why they visit a couple therapist
(Jeanne Lohnes) - who suggests if everything culminates in a food fight,
food might also get them back together again ... Within its
very short (circa 5 minutes) running time, on the corner does manage to
say much about (mis-)communication in relationships, and does manage to
keep things hilarious throughout, thanks to a script that's witty in the
Audrey Noone-sort of way, a light-footed direction and of course great
performances by all. Definitely worth 5 minutes of your life ... but be
warned, you might want to watch it again and again to pick up a few more
details you might have missed the first time round.
