Jack (Josh Mitchell) has returned from the war in one piece, and that
he should be happy about (and is to a degree of course), and his wife
Joley (Jessica Lindsey Gilbert) does the best to make his post-war life a
normal one ... but exactly that gets harder by the day, as Jack just can't
shake the (imagined) ghost of a war buddy (Lauran de Winter) he left to
die saving himself back on the battlefield, a memory that has turned to
guilt over time, even if it's more than questionable that Jack could have
saved him and wouldn't have just died as well trying to do so. However,
this feeling of guilt can't but lead to disaster eventually ... Nice
little horror miniature based on PTS (as suffered by many veterans)
getting out of hand - but this is not a film of big effects and bigger
explosions, but one that tells most of its story, creates its atmosphere,
between the lines, in the silences between the characters that speak
louder than words, and that almost inevitably lead to the most horrible
results ...
