Sam (Lucinda Dryzek) and John (Laurence Ubong Williams) should be
happy, they have just spent some wonderful days together, are deeply in
love, and their love's indeed genuine ... and yet, Sam is heartbroken,
basically because she's driving him to the airport so he can fly home to
his native USA while she's living in the UK. And that situation makes her
start a row out of the blue ...
Seemingly telling very little,
this is actually a very charming movie about troubled relationships that
works thanks to solid leads whose dialogue is utterly believable without
ever hammering home its point. And likewise, the direction avoids
spectacle but gives the characters sufficient space to breathe.
