The biggest Mizuchi sister Reimi (Hitomi Takahashi) has returned to
Japan, and she wastes no time to pick up where her sisters (Yasuko Endo,
Natsumi Asano) have failed: To get highschool girl/undercover cop Saki
(Yuki Saito) out of the way and then ... I don't know, take over Japan I
suppose. Reimi however is smarter than her sisters and quick to realize it
won't be enough to just kill Saki, but she wants to destroy the
organisation behind her as well. So she devices a clever plan to pin two
murders on her and throw her into the slammer. There a warden tries to
beat the identity of those behind her out of her, and when that doesn't
work he tortures her new-found friend and cellmateMidori in her stead.
Saki refuses to talk though On the outside, Saki's mentor Jin (Koji
Naka) in the meantime manages to track down the cop who has pinned the
murders on Saki, and he forces him to talk ... which in turn inspires
Reimi to have Saki killed by the violent warden. However, Saki manages to
defeat the warden, after which she has to fight - against cellmate Midori
of all people who has worked for Reimi all along, and she proves to be a
formidable foe. But when it already looks desperate for Saki, Jin arrives
with her trusted yo-yo (= her weapon of choice), and Saki manages to
defeat her for good. Jin has come to set Saki free from prison, since
all charges hae been dropped, but he has failed to prove that Reimi has
been behind all of this ... So-so episode (or two parter, to be
precise) that takes itself a bit too seriously and is a major letdown if
you have expected any drastic women-in-prison action - but then again,
hey, this is a series aimed at teens ...
