An investigative journalist (Tiffany Apan) with her mind set on the Pullitzer Prize has stumbles upon a website run by Slasher Inc, a company that fights for the enviroment - by slaughtering all those who litter. To that end, Slasher Inc supports eco-friendly serialkillers and now runs a contest, hosted by company CEO Alicia (Robyn Griggs) and the company's hockey-masked serialkiller in residence Rob the Slasher (Raz), that will give one of three serialkillers the opportunity to achieve immortality.

First serialkiller is Nursery Rhyme Jack (Jack Bowman), a perfectly mild mannered-looking man, who elaborates on his killings in a soft and friendly voice, and freely provides the audience with recipes to cook humans and the like.

Next up is cardboard-masked Loonitic Rob (Rob Avery), who kills people in the framework of a gameshow roughly following the rules of Truth or Dare - only difference that all contestants are killed in the end.

Final contestant is jute bag-masked Kevin Tooler (Rob Avery), and man, he's clearly off the rocker: He claims that every person he kills returns as a demon, and these demons will serve him. Where did his powers over the demons come from? He himself was killed by Rob the Slasher, but came back thanks to a deal with the devil. Thing is, now he also has all of Rob the Slasher's memories, and if he doesn't take his medication, he thinks he becomes Rob - and in one such fit, he kills his own sister.

Kevin Tooler wins the contest hands down of course, but Rob the Slasher still has an account to settle with him, after all Kevin was the only one who escaped death by his hands ... so he kills Kevin's other sister just to lure him to his place, Then the two get into a bloody fight, at the end of which Rob decapitates Kevin and smashes his head to a pulp. So in the end, the grand prize goes to Loonitic Rob.

And what became of our investigative journalist, you might (or might not) ask?

When Slasher Inc notices she's spying in on them, she is killed by an electric jolt they send her over the internet.

Over-the-top, politically incorrect humour and plenty of gore, all presented as a game show satire - now that sounds like an unbeatable combination. And I have to admit, there are plenty of scenes to laugh at in this movie. But unfortunately, it falls several feet short of being great. Basically, the film's problem is that the narrative thread is dropped at the beginning of the movie and never again picked up, instead the film just becomes a climax-less series of killings, but without any emotional backstory to them, the killings become just empty special effects. It's only late in the film, that with off-the-rocker Kevin Tooler and his rivalry with Rob the Slasher another storyline is introduced into the film, but that's a bit too little too late.

Sure, the film still is some fun consumed with beer and mates, it just could have been so much better.
