Teens Tom (Frankie Avalon) and Craig (Dwayne Hickman) have the same problem all of the boys in their age have ... girls. Somehow, they just seem to not be able to hit it off with their supposed girlfriends, Linda (Deborah Walley) and Barbara (Yvonne Craig), respectively. What is making matters worse is that one guy at their school, Freddy (Aron Kincaid) seems to have no troubles at all getting all the girls he wants - and more.

Then, during the half term holidays, Tom and Craig learn that their girls are going on a skiing trip with the ski club of the school - which is of course headed by Freddy. So to not lose the girls altogether, they decide to join the others on their trip ... despite the fact that they cannot ski at all.

Soon, Tom and Craig figure they have taken a bigger bite than they can chew and the only person who could teach them how to ski would be Swedish Nita (Bobbi Shaw), the ski instructor of the girls. But to get into her group, Tom and Craig have to dress up as girls themselves ... which leads to the typical shenanigans, including Barbara thinking that Craig has an affair with the woman Craig pretends to be and Freddy falling madly in love with female Craig. Tom meanwhile figures out the only way to win over Linda is to make her jealous, so he picks up Nita, and quite successfully too ... but somehow he is then tricked into taking part in a skijump competition which he plans to win with the help of helium gas but which ends in a broken leg.

Soon enough, everything gets so out of balance that Tom and Craig - still as his female self - have to make a quick getaway, with Freddy in hot pursuit since he thinks Tom is taking away the woman of his life, and the others in hot pursuit since Linda has finally realized she's in love with Tom after all but now thinks he has run away with another woman - which is of course Craig.

It all ends on the beach, with Tom and Linda and Craig and Barbara finally getting together for good while Freddy, who thinks female Craig has taken off into the Ocean, swims after her ...

Annette Funicello plays a professor doing a class on sexual abstinence while Dick Miller gives the film some colour as a taxidriver, and James Brown and Lesley Gore perform I Feel Good and Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows, respectively.

This is a pretty bad movie actually, sort of the Beach Party-series of movies transported into the snow and crossed with Some Like it Hot - even though Frankie Avalon and Dwayne Hickman are certainly no Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis. The outcome is a series of lame gags that are either snow-related or feature men in drag or both held together by a story that is almost too feeble to hold them together - and believe me, when a cameo appearance by Annette Funicello and a running gag featuring a yodelling polar bear are among the funnier aspects of a movie, you pretty much know what you're in for.

Rather a waste of time.
