Peter (Daniel Button) and Susan (Heather Higginbotham) have a new
roommate, Donald (R. Daniel Long) ... and he seems to be the nicest of
guys - so nice in fact it's almost frightening. But hey, if a nice guy
like Donald asks you if he can make use of your garden shed, can you say
no? Of course you can't. But what's going on in the shed, and why is
Donald equipping the shed door with no less than 10 locks? And why is he
only opening the door of the shed in the middle of the night to throw some
food into it as if he were feeding something? And what are these sounds
coming out of the shed? And why is Donald evading all questions about
whatever might be going on in the shed? And is it really a good idea to
try and find out? The Shed might not exactly break new ground,
storywise, but it's an effective and highly likeable and entertaining
horror miniature, somehow reminiscent of the classic Twilight
Zone, but with a light-hearted and modern feel to it, even if
the finale is very reminiscent of monster movies of yesteryear - which is
a good thing, as it perfectly fits the story. In short, do watch it, if
you're even remotely into horror entertainment, you're almost sure to be
entertained!
