Tony (Michael Frascino) is a wannabe rockstar living in the middle of
nowhere, USA. But then he hooks up with Vince (Agim Kaba) and his band
Neowolf, and his career actually seems to take off - much to the dismay of
his girlfriend Rosemary (Heidi Johanningmeier), who wants Vince for
herself and could not care less about his career. That Neowolf's regular
groupie Paula (Megan Pepin) is more than a little interested in Vince does
not improve matters. Rosemary does a bit of googling on Neowolf and
quickly comes to the conclusion that the bandmembers are all werewolves -
so she hooks up with local werewolf expert and wolfbane grower Ms
Belakovich (Vernmoica Cartwright), and the two make themselves some silver
bullets and go werewolf hunting. And somehow the two of them manage to
kill Neowolf's entire lineup, who really are werewolves by the way, but
Rosemary has to also shoot Tony, who has become one of them, but somehow
he's still allowed to die a hero's death. Then Rosemary and Ms Belakovich
move on, to go and kill some more werewolves elsewhere. What a
bad werewolf flick: The plot seems to be recycled a few times too often
and totally bland at the same time, the werewolf makeup is way past
pathetic (in fact it's just a bit of extra facial hair glued onto the
actors), the characters
are as one-dimensional as the cast is untalented, and the director (who
used an alias with reason) is as unable to create a creepy atmosphere as
he is to properly handle action. Add to this a few totally artificial and
mediocre wannabe alternative rock tunes (after all, this film is about a
rock band), and you are left with something you really regret having seen.
