The aliens are among us - but not so that we notice, as they look just
like us and have long assimilated. And to keep them in check, there are
the dedicated men and women from the MIB, who wear special sunglasses to
tell the aliens from the real humans. And two of them, Agents A (Debra
Lamb) and B (Heath Harper) are on the trail of an alien serialkiller,
Benny (Tom Patrick Propofsky) - but what has started out as a routine case
gets complicated when Benny takes a captive, Zoe (Lexsy McKowen) he wants
to use as bait to lure Agent A into a trap. What makes this complicated is
that Zoe is A's daughter she has given away at birth and kept a secret
from everyone, even her partner B ... A very interesting
fanfilm-take on Men in Black (with shades of They
Live thrown in, which filmmaker Chris R. Notarile tackled more
extensively in his earlier They
Still Live), stripping the source material of most of its comedy -
which works because this is not just Men in Black minus
jokes but explores some of the ramifications of the material only
underdeveloped in the movies in more detail and makes this one a suspense
piece of its own, also thanks to a tight directorial effort and strong
performances by all involved. ... and if this has gotten you at
all interested, you might want to watch the movie at https://youtu.be/JtiMgV235Sg
