When professional killer Buffalo Gun gets out of prison, he is almost
immediately hired to shoot police chief Iron Cop. But since that seems
to be too big a job for him alone, he hires 3 more killers to help out:
Ghostman, who is haunted by the spirit of his wife whom he killed while
cleaning his rifle, Elvis, who thinks he is Elvis due to an amnesia
caused by an explosion, & Dog, a drug-crazed explosives expert (who
set off the explosion that made Elvis lose his mind in the first place).
But the hit, supposed to take place at an art exhibition, goes wrong to
an extent, since Kit Silencer, another hitman looking for the killer of
his mother with a tattoo as his only clue, kills Iron Cop before our
gang can even make an attempt, & furthermore Kit takes Buffalo, who
wears a police uniform as disguise, hostage to get out of the building.
& while our heroes get out of this one unscathed, now the goons of
the man who hired both Buffalo's gang & Kit Silencer, Pak, are after
them. & as if that alone wasn't enough trouble, Buffalo has some
unresolved business, since during his time in jail, his daughter Janta
was sold off into slavery & prostitution on Flower Isalnd to pay for
her mother's debts, & now Buffalo wants to get her back. But it
seems he is not the only one who goes there since Dog & Elvis arrive
just for entertainment, but Dog has to find his ex-girlfriend is one of
the prostitutes, & when he wants to get her out of there she refuses
since she doesn't love him. Upon leaving the place, Dog stumbles over a
million Dollars though from some drug-deal that has nothing to do with
him, but since noone is safeguarding the money, Dog takes it anyway
& leaves with Elvis. Kit Silencer meanwhile comes to Flower Island
to find the killer of his mother he now believes to be Pak, who has just
embarked for the island himself, but he stumbles upon Janta, whom he
promises to save, but instead is taken prisoner by Poon, who was
involved in above-mentioned drug-deal & now thinks Kit has the money
(which Kit has no idea about) & tortures him. Fortunately for him,
now Buffalo & Ghostman arrive, as well as Dog, who still wants to
get back his ex, & now has the money to emphasize on it, with Elvis,
& a massive shoot-out ensues, in the end only leaving Buffalo, Kit,
Dog, Elvis, Ghostman & Janta standing. But then the real showdown
starts, as Pak finally arrives at the island with a gang of killers. In
the end, Pak & all his men die, but at what price - Ghostman is
shot, finally being reunited with his ghostly wife, Dog blows himself
up, finally freeing Elvis of his amnesia, & Kit shoots Buffalo, now
believing he was the killer of his mother, only to then learn he wasn't
after all. & his quest for his mother's killer might gop on forever,
since the tattooist who made Buffalo's tattoo tells him he did about 200
indentical ones ...
Hilarious over the top comedy, making fun of about every cliché of the
professional killer genre (which is way more popular & also
formalized in East Asia than in the West), while having plenty of well
staged action & shoot-outs that put it very much in league with the
more serious entries of the genre.
