During
the mandatory COVID-19 self isolation, Nicolai Kornum finds a bloody protective mask
in the street, and makes the odd decision to take it home with him and
make calls to all friends in his neighbourhood to see if the mask belongs
to any of them …
- Goryo:
In best J-horror tradition, Emma Dark is a bit too curious to watch a
video that says don’t watch …
- Across
the Landing: Richard Markworth sets up a video diary, just to show
everyone how greatly he’s handling self isolation - but all it takes to
break him is the neighbour across the landing who just wants a bit of
company …
- Anomalous:
John Whitaker goes shopping for toilet paper despite self isolation, and
really overdoes stocking up on bogrolls in the process - which comes back
to (literally) haunt him …
- Ghosting
Isolation: Isolation doesn’t sit well with Mike Daniels, who starts to
have visions that make him question his sanity.
…
back in Nicolai’s story, we learn that there’s more to the mask than
just a few drops of blood …
Made from beginning to end during the Corona virus lockdown that also
forms its premise, and filmed in accordance with lockdown rules and
regulations, this film is first and foremost a testament on how true
creativity cannot be quenched, no matter how adverse the circumstances
might be - and the result is five pieces of self isolation horror that
despite of a common theme come in all styles the genre has to offer, from
ghost story to psycho horror, from comedy to gruesomeness, and while the
segments may well vary aesthetically, they're all of high quality, and the
resulting anthology-short should please every self-respecting horror fan.
And for those interested, this film is set to premiere on
Friday 24th April 2020 9pm GMT at
