The Phantom Opposition Party aka Phantom Militia plan to take over
Japan, and to this end, they kidnap a foreign Princes, Kathleen. But of
course, Gentaro (Shoji
Ishibashi), agent for Professor Tsushima, is already on the job, and he
frees the Princess in no time, even though the Phantom Militia has a
mighty defender, Zaira Unicorn, a dinosaur-like giant creature with a horn
on its head ... but then again, Gentaro has the giant robot Iron King as
his guardian angel, and soon enough, the Phantom Militia and Zaira Unicorn
are chased off.
Thing is, the Princess is less than grateful for being saved, and she
is not too receptive for Gentaro's rather crude manners either, and it's
only Gentaro's friend klutzy and fellow agent Goro (Mitsuo Hamada), who unbeknowest to
Gentaro is really Iron King, who keeps them from fighting. Then though the
Princess sneaks away and gets into an ambush ... and now its up to Gentaro
and Iron King to save her from the Phantom Militia, who is once again
helped by Zaira Unicorn.
In the end the whole matter is resolved when Gentaro severs the
creature's tail with his iron whip and drops it onto the Phantom Militia
agents who remote-control the creature smashing them. Then Gentaro, who has
by now figured the creature is actually a giant robot, blows up Zaira
Unicorn.
The Princess of course is saved, but it bothers Gentaro that a whole
village was smashed due to her stubborness.
A wacky looking dinosaur monster destroying some miniature sets - one
of the more amusing episodes of the series, if you are into that kind of
thing. I know I am ...
