Greta (Monica Strömmerstedt) is a young widow whose husband has left
her a small fortune, so theoretically she shouldn't worry about anything
too much ... however, she is in love with Karl (Casten Lassen), a yet
unpublished writer 15 years younger than her who lives from her wealth and
lets her buy him a sportscar and a boat and stuff - and soon Greta has to
realize that her money will eventually run out - and much sooner than she
had expected, too.
There's of course Einar (Thomas Ungewitter), her deceased hubby's best
friend who's in love with her and who would even pay her to be his escort,
thing is, while Greta likes Einar, she can't make herself love him.
Then Greta's sister Astrid dies, and Astrid's 17 year-old daughter Inga
(Marie Liljedahl) comes to stay with her aunt since she ahs noone else now
... and Inga would be a perfect match for Einar, because she is lovely,
she has the same interests as him (like opera, history, classic literature
and music), plus Einar likes young girls, and Greta figures with a little
bit of tact and sensitivity, she can sell Inga to Einar and still
collect the money ...
What Greta didn't count on though was that bhind her back, Inga and
Karl were falling in love with each other, and when Greta cooks up a
scheme to make Inga really horny then makes her go to her lover, she would
have never expected that Inga's lover could be Karl ... and when she
finally finds it out, Inga and Karl are already long gone on the boat
Greta has bought for Karl ...
A nice retro erotic melodrama, Inga might look positively tame
by today's standards (small wonder considering the film is from 1967), but
that doesn't mean that several scenes aren't nothign short of smoking hot
and Marie Liljedahl perfectly comes across as the sensuous yet innocent
girl. plotwise, the film is of course a bit stupid and sometimes strains
credibility, but director Joe Sarno has put in a nice directorial effort
to make one overlook several weaknesses of the moive and make one enjoy it
as a very nice piece of 1960's erotica.
Recommended.
