Katharine (Carolina Perez) isn't too big a fan of her life, she has
suffered abuse, has gone through depression, and is no stranger to
suicidal tendencies. And the visions of violence she's having at times are
all but encouraging ... and yet, when she's attacked by a masked man who
ties her up in her bath tub and gags her, she notices how much she
actually clings to her life ... The first half of this movie is
actually pretty interesting, as it promises to tell the fragmented stories
of two women in an unorthodox way, using arthouse aesthetics to carry the
plot ... and then it abandons all that for a disappointingly
straighforward kidnapping plot that kind of lacks any real climax and
leaves all the story's narrative threads at best shoddily tied up.
