Doctor Talbert (Marty Smith) is a couple therapist who has gained quite
a following of late. Sure, she's no scientifically recognized specialist
on the subject, her expertise actually doesn't go beyond animal husbandry,
but her sessions are popular enough to have one of her group sessions
taped for a documentary. Jamie (Elle Matarazzo) and Paul (Jeremy Labrie)
are pretty new to this and have come only on a friend's (Marybeth Paul)
advice - and the awkwardness of the situation makes things spin out of
control rather quickly ... A mockumentary about the bubble
couple therapy can be if in the wrong hands (or used on the wrong people),
and what happens when the bubble bursts, I Feel is first and
foremost one thing, and that's good fun: It comes to life thanks to a
bunch of entertaining and often caricature-like characters played by an
able ensemble cast, thanks to a clever script and dialogue, and camera and
direction sure know how to make the most of the limiting set to keep
things interesting. Rather enjoyable, really!
