At first it seems like a routine murdercase to detective Trey (Paul
Anninos), and he even manages to almost capture the killer pretty much
red-handed during a nighttime chase, but then the killer doesn't only
escape him but also a police cordon. Then key witnesses start turning up
dead, and Trey's partner Jason's (Stephen Twardokus) computer is hacked
into and the fingerprints found on the scene of the crime are erased.

Nice one! A film that starts out as a typical
cop/buddy movie that quickly turns into more of a police procedural, with
its main character's action antics seeming a little out of place (they do
make perfect sense in retrospect though). But towards the end, the film
spins out of control, oversteps genre boundaries ... and becomes really
good! Sure, the movie was made on a very tight budget, and it cannot denie
its financial shortcomings, be it for its technical limitations or limited
locations and costumes, and some of the actors are not 100% up to their
roles, but all of this is made up by a very exciting and thought-through
script, accompanied by a compact directorial effort, which make this more
than decent genre entertainment.
