Kill! Pussy! Kill! (Sara Malakul Lane, Demetrius Stear, Lauren Parkinson, Nicole Sterling, Kelly Lynn Reiter, Kelly McCart, Tristan Ott) is a female-heavy punk-rock band that has not yet had its big break, so they have to travel in their little band van from venue to venue, often playing more than one gig a night - but Halloween night when travelling to their next appointment, said van breaks down at a small gas station in the middle of nowhere, and it pretty soon becomes clear there's no way they can catch the gig. Fortunately though, the gas station attendant Dale (Richard Grieco) offers to drive them to a place to spend the night at least ... but unfortunately, the guy isn't playing all that fairly, as he gasses them, and when they wake up they find themselves locked into a warehouse where they are under observation by a psycho war veteran (Jed Rowen, voiced by Dave Mustaine) whose face was torn off his face on the battlefield on Halloween many years ago - and now he has made it his habit to capture and torture a bunch of youngsters each Halloween and see them kill each other - as he knows how to manipulate people into becoming selfish pricks whenever they see a ghost of a chance to have a slight advantage over one another. So he tells the band there's a weapon hidden in the warehouse, and whoever finds it has to kill one of the bandmates to advance to the next "level". Of course, Kill! Pussy! Kill! ought to be a tight-knit group who ought to find a way out of this without resorting to violence against one another - but the opposite is true, the boys and girls are soon at each other's throats and seem only too happy to play the psycho's game. And when Dale later re-enters the proceedings, they are happy to aim their aggression at him as well, before even wondering whether he might be a victim just like them. Thing is, it's more than questionable whether killing one another will get them even one step closer to freedom ...

Sure, Halloween Pussy Trap Kill Kill (other than in title not at all related to Russ Meyer's classic Faster Pussycat Kill Kill by the way) is not a film to everybody's taste, it requires some grindhouse sensibilities, a strong stomach to make it through the bloodier stuff, and a portion of humour to properly appreciate the over-the-topness of some elements of the film (including the girls campy outfits) - but if your tastes are similar to mine and you don't have problems with any of that, you'll in all probability utterly enjoy this film, a fast-paced genre piece that's tailored to a genre audience and is not to be taken too seriously (without being a comedy) but that actually does have something to say about human nature, and our inability to work for a greater good - but not in a preachy but an utterly entertaining way.

Great fun, actually!
