Max (Max Azulay) is to start substitute-teaching a health class at the
local high school when he learns that he suffers from an extremely rare
veneral disease with only one symptom: He has to twitch every time he's
horny or hungry. Now basically, this is something Max can very well live
with, as it's totally containable ... but it sheds a new light on
everything he teaches his students regarding health, and makes him muse
whether everything that's supposed to be common knowledge might be just
baloney, and he might actually do better if he taught his students to just
live life ... Gunderson's is a cute and sometimes even
cheeky little comedy that delivers a likeable message - but does so in an
even more likeable way, walking the fine line between clever satire and
laugh-out-loud humour. Now add to that subtle performances and a subtle
directorial effort that never go for the cheap joke, and you've got
yourself a rather amusing short because of just that!
