Carlos (Marcel Mars) is despairing, he's hearing voices, and they
predict certain doom for the island he lives on. He tries to call
everyone, and finally even his psychoanalyst (also Marcel Mars) - but he
might only be a figment of his imagination, or one of the voices.
Whichever, the doctor only suggests to Carlos to eat fruits and fiber and
go to the toilet, otherwise he'll throw up shit, and visit him in the
office later. Upon leaving his place though, Carlos starts to throw up,
steadily and violently, and all sorts of stuff - including shit. His
doctor though is preparing to kill poor but annoying Carlos ... Good
Morning Carlos is most certainly not a film for everybody, it's mostly
a guy who throws up, and in all colours of the rainbow, too - but then
again, I doubt the film was designed to be for everybody, it's a gross and
intentionally trashy piece of exploitation cinema with some definite black
humour running straight through it, and some over-the-topness in both
acting and special effects to top it off. Again, not a film for everybody
- but enter it with an open mind and you will be entertained.
