James has come to Las Vegas to try to overcome his paranoia in a new
enviroment where he knows nobody - thus nobody who might stalk him, right? But
then what about Nathan, the guy who lives next door? He's roughly James's
age, and he seems to be terribly interested in James's affairs, and how
come he's always so over-friendly? And the fact that they have connecting
rooms, is there some scheme to it? ... and before you know it, James is
in at the deep end ... Getaway Vacation is a really fun
genre miniature, getting surprisingly much out of ... very little,
actually, in terms of sets, cast (quantitatively speaking) and action. But
a decent plot, good dialogue, competent acting and subtle direction really
get the most out of this in under 11 minutes.
