Once, the legend of demons kept everybody away from a certain cave ...
but nowadays, legends are brushed off as superstition, and what has once
scared people now attracts them - so it's little wonder that eventually
the cave proves irresistible to a young female caver, and the more true
the legends prove, the more eager she pushes on - but she might not have
thought all of it through ... Basically, this first episode of Fragments
of Fear is a testament of good storytelling, as we see none of above
action unfold but are seeing the somewhat distorted image of narrator
Richard Gladman on a monitor, telling the story - and doing an awesome
job, properly relating the story to the audience without overdoing it. The
story itself is proper horror, with all the trappings, plottwists and
surprise endings one would expect from a good old-fashioned short story,
laced with H.P. Lovecraftian creepiness. So as long as you can sit still
through someone telling you a story, basically, you'll be richly rewarded. Oh,
and if this has gotten you at all interested, you can catch this episode
