Operative Mei Ling (Chloe Ng) has been kidnapped by agent gone rogue
Claude (JCVD), and since she carries vital information, the agency's boss
One Eye (Jane Badler) calls in their top man (and constant womanizer)
Jasper Clay (Nathan Hill), who seems to be the right one for the job,
mainly because he has a history with Mei Ling. And when he and Claude
finally meet, it's really a question of who's better at macho posturing
more than anything else ... Now ok, the story of this 5 minute short is paper-thin, but arguably this
is exactly the point of this movie, an ironic take on by now pretty much
antiquated mainstays of James
Bond and similar macho action movies, fueled
by a spot-on directorial effort and fun performances from all involved.
Now maybe the outcome is no utter cinematic masterpiece, but it's worth
quite a few healthy laughs at least
