A man (Benjamin Coulter) wakes up alone and naked, in an unfurnished,
door- and windowless white room. All that is in the room really is a
laptop. The man soon finds out that everything he types into the laptop
will come true - so he writes himself a window to the outside, a door ...
and a woman (Sian Altman) who wants sex. But after sex he finds out he
wants more in a woman than just that, and he writes more and more about
her, creating a great and loving partner, and in the process also the
whole world around them. Everything works out fine - until she inquires
about him, and he has to realize without input about himself he's just as
featureless as the room he woke up in, and the woman when he first met her
... An interesting film that poses many a philosophical
question - but goes about it as light-footed and light-hearted as can be,
packing all of its undercurrents into a sweet (yet never shallow) comedy -
with a twist at the end. And of course, a thought-through directorial
effort and strong performances help bringing the story across, and make
this in a very cool piece of entertainment - that might leave you thinking
...
