After three days of relationship, a certain fatigue has sneaked its way
into the sex life of Richie and Suzy (Tina Krause) ... so he decides to
chloroform and later electrocute her, just for kicks. He only then
realizes she's no good to him dead ... so he takes her to the local mad
scientist to make him several clones (16 in all) of Suzy, which leaves him
with quite a few girlfriends to kill - and for an extra kick, each Suzy
can only be killed a certain way. Thing is, the Suzys don't like to be
kept in Richie's home to await certain death, so they all jump ship and
become door-to-door cosmetics salesgirls. Eventually several of the
girls stop by the home of the local weirdo (John Bacchus), who seems to
share Richie's predilection for killing girls - but when one Suzy after
the other turns up on his doorstep and he almost can't keep up killing
them (especially when one comes back to life having been killed the wrong
way), it drives him almost insane - well, more insane than he already is
... The premise of this movie is fun of course, but the general
humour isn't always up to serve the story, execution - zero budget or not
- is just too sloppy to really make the film work: Most scenes are filmed
in but one take, and apart from the camerawork being rather lazy, the
actors mostly aren't up to doing long takes. Plus too many of the actors
try just too hard to be funny to come across as just that. Actually, only
Tina Krause (who also gets naked a lot, in case you wondered) manages to
keep a straight face during most of her scenes while making an ass of
herself in all the right moments, and thus she at least makes the film
somewhat worthwhile ...
