Two girls (Ashley Fires, Allysin Chaynes) and a guy are electrocuted in
a jacuzzi when taking some time off on the set of a sex movie, and even
though all the actresses (Deanna Merryman, Kelli Summers, Sunny Leone) are
absolutely convinced that their director Roman Fields (Roman Fields) has
killed them, they won't talk to detective Dick Stanwick (William
Jacobson). So he sends in three undercover detectives (Nikki Nova, Katie
James, Jesse Jane), the Busty Cops, who look the part (meaning they have
got big tits) to mingle with the folks at the production, and to use their
bodies (~ fuck) to get information out of some of them. The girls don't
seem to find out all that much, but at least they seem to enjoy
themselves. But in the end they get their man, Fields of course, by
placing a hidden camera at the scene of his next supposed kill and
storming in to shoot him dead before he can make good his plan. Ok,
you probably don't expect a masterpiece from a softcore sex film called Busty
Cops almost by definition, and that said, the movie starts out
immensely entertaining by presenting its concept (busty cops who take off
their cloths a lot) in such an over-the-top way it has one laugh out loud
repeatedly. Unfortunately though, after a short time only, the film simply
seems to lose direction, and instead of telling its story it just presents
the audience with a series of loosely to not-at-all linked sex scenes,
until it brings its mystery plot to a rather abrupt conclusion. Of course,
the main objective of a film like this is showing gorgeous and busty babes
in the nude, and Busty Cops succeeds at that no matter how you look
at it, but one can't help but feel that after a great start, the film just
fails to properly deliver. The extendend (mock-)interview with Nikki Nova
and Katie James over the closing credits is pretty fun though, and does
make up for at least some shortcomings ...
