Mike (Steven Michael Quinn jr) ditches Tiffany (Stephanie Casebier),
just before they go running together, and even if he denies it, it's for
another woman, Sarah (Andrea Fernandez). They head off into a part of the
woods that's actually restricted for runners, and Mike even neglects a
warning that there's a killer roaming these parts ... and then suddenly
Tiffany is gone, and when he goes looking for her, he finds quite a number
of bodies, and it's all people from his past, including Sarah. And then he
finds Tiffany - but hey, death is not always the end ... One
has to love Bonds for its darkly humourous approach and its
determination to not shy away from anything - but that said, storywise the
film unfortunately doesn't manage to convince 100%, especially since the
twist ending seems to announce itself way too soon and is dragged out a
bit too long. And that said, the thing is still quite entertaining thanks
to not only its approach but also some competent performances playing
their characters likeable enough to let us feel with them. No masterpiece
for sure, but fun while it lasts at least.
