Luce (Alexia Cozzi) and Loris (Pierangelo Menci) are madly in love with
one another - much to the dismay of her father (Rocco Siffredi), a rich
businessman, who believes his daughter is neglecting her studies in favour
for the boy (he's right about that) and thinks a mere mechanic isn't
boyfriend material for his daughter. So with the help of one of Luce's
friends (Matteo Principi) he sees to it that Loris gets into debt with the
wrong people, hoping she will see what a loser her boyfriend is that way.
but when she learns about the debt she's determined to move heaven and
earth to gather the money in a mere 24 hours - and when none of her
friends and family can cough up the sum needed, she goes to the one friend
she could always rely on, Vicky (Shaen Barletta). Now Vicky hasn't got the
money needed either, but she can help Luce make it over night. You see,
Vicky's a camgirl on a highly exclusive cam site. and she figures Luce
certainly has the looks to go down that rabbithole as well. Only Luce has
her fair share of sexual hang-ups, so she needs to help her overcome those
before she can let her loose on the site. She manages that admirably, and
before you know it, Luce is camera-ready ... only to find herself doing a
private show for the professor (Victor Carlo Vitale) who has flunked her
only recently. Now that's bad enough, worse is he also blackmails her into
having lesbian sex with Vicky. But what's the very worst is, the professor
is also a good friend of her father's, and through him, however
unintentionally, dad's almost sure to find out ... Now I'm sure in
writing, this film sounds like sleazy as can be, and to be sure, the film
has its fair share of nudity and the occasional sex scene - given the
subject matter, it would hardly have worked without - but it's really more
a character-driven drama that raises questions about sexulity but also
(maybe outdated) morals, as well as the right to control one's own
fate - all played out by a very competent ensemble cast in very colourful
imagery that at times leans towards the sensual, at others towards the
very dark- And the whole makes up for a very worthwhile movie.
