Actually he (Andrew Jacob DeHart) wanted to do nothing more than bring
some beer to a bar for a party later that day ... but then he finds a girl
(Clarisse Behr) lying lifeless in the street, and he carries her in,
drapes her out on the pool table, and after he gets no reception on the
phone, he goes through her pockets to find something that might give him a
clue to her identity and who to contact ... but instead he finds a balloon
filled with cocaine and just can't resist the temptation to try some -
fatal mistake, as the cocaine just wasn't cocaine, and his world is
becoming warped - and dangerously so ... An interesting little
piece that manages to tell its slightly straightforward story in a
nevertheless disturbing way by minimizing its dialogue and relying on
atmospheric camerawork and even more so an unsettling soundscape instead -
and the film really works like a charm doing just that!
