Strippers Val (Morgan Shaley Renew), Mitzi (Sanethia Dresch) and
Carolyn (Shelby Lois Guinn) raid the very club they're working at when a
drug deal's taking place, and get away with it, too, leaving behind a
trail of blood. And on their way to the border, they just take what they
need, meaning they rob gas stations and bars aplenty, and if they have to
kill somebody to get whatever, so be it. Soon enough, they have the police
on their trail, but special agents Cannon (Mike Amason) and McMurphy (Dove
Dupree) always seem to be several cities behind the girls. Everything goes
pretty well for the girls, too, until Val gets on a power high and insists
to kidnap Bard Gainsworth (Cleveland Langdale), singer of her favourite
band - not for ransom mind you, just to have fun with him. Even that goes
well, and they make it South of the border and find an accomplice in Rusty
(Jonathan Benton), clerk at the motel they're staying at. Heck even
kidnapping a second rock singer (Micah
Peroulis) - also for having fun with him - goes well, and the six
of them have a wonderful drug-induced party. But soon Val is so overcome
by stupid self confidence that she insists to kidnap yet another musician
(Shane Silman), even if that means crossing the border Northwards again,
back into the jurisdiction of the special agents - and even they aren't
incapable enough to not follow the trail the girls leave behind ...
Inspired by Faster,
Pussycat ... Kill! Kill! and any number of bad girls B movies
from the 1950s through to the 90s, and it really lives up to its
blueprints, delivering a trip that might be on the low budget side of
things, but high on adrenaline, with penty of action and violence, sexy
bits, flashes of comedy, and even a share of psychedelia, all held
together by a pulpy storyline genre fans are sure to appreciate. Now sure,
the film doesn't exactly break any new ground, but it's great at doing
what it does, and thus a ton of fun to watch.
