After trying to strangle Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) last episode, Ash
(Bruce Campbell) ends up tied up and gagged, to be exorcised by the Brujo
(Hemky Madera), while Kelly, who's really possessed, retreats to Ash's
trailer with Pablo (Ray Santiago), trying to relax with him, which
is very much against type. Ultimately, she tries to make him smoke
marihuana through a gun barrel - loaded of course. He sees through her
deceipt just in time though and ultimately saves Ash from his exorcism
before things get rough, then Brujo tries to exorcise Kelly, but when the
demon Eligos (Ben Fransham, voiced by Jared Turner) exits Kelly alol hell
breaks loose, leaving Brujo dead, and the day can only be saved because
Ash remembers his old motto, "shoot first, think never" ... An
episode that focuses less on Ash and more on his two sidekicks - and it's
nice to see them come into their own. In all, this episode has everything
that makes the series as a whole so appealing, comedy clashing with drama
clashing with violence, all soaked in self-irony and told in a fast-paced,
take-no-prisoners way, for maximum entertainment.
